Dumbledore's theme can be heard on the tracks "In Noctem", "Dumbledores Speech", and "Dumbledore's Foreboding". A much more powerful variation of the theme can be heard on the track "Journey to the Cave". A slower, more emotional variation based on the opening line of "In Noctem" is heard in "Opening" and "Dumbledore's Farewell". In Deathly Hallows part 2, composer Alexandre Desplat included Nicholas Hooper's "Dumbledore's Farewell" just after the track "Severus and Lily" as harry views Snape's morories in the pensieve.
