"Dumbledore's Army" is the eponymous theme that represents the organisation by the same name founded by Harry Potter and his friends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley.
Composed by Nicholas Hooper, this theme appears as Dumbledore's Army forms and begins attending their first lessons. It is later heard during the closing credits of the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
The theme later reappears during the Quidditch trials for the Keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch team in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
"Dumbledore's Army" is a joyful, hopeful theme that opens with a slow, tender variation of "Hedwig's Theme" on flutes, which is joined by a harp, pulsing strings and finally a clarinet and French horns.
"Dumbledore's Army" has become one of the most recognisable themes of the Harry Potter film series and often accompanies DVD special features in later releases. It appears as Track 5 on the original motion picture soundtrack of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
