It is unknown if Dudley's children were male or female or if they were as fat or spoiled as Dudley was in his childhood. However, since Dudley reformed after the confontation with the Dementors, as he saw himself as a spoilt brat, it is possible that he raised his children to become better person than he once was. It should be noted that Harry allowed his children to socialize with Dudley's, and they seem to have friendly term with each other as they played together, so the speculation is not far-fetched after all.

The two[1] children of Dudley Dursley and his wife were Muggles.[2] They would occasionally be visited by their magical second cousins, the two sons and daughter of their father's cousin Harry Potter.

While they played with James, Albus, and Lily, the children's fathers, Harry and Dudley, would sit silently together as they were on "Christmas Card" terms[3].

Behind the scenes

  • Rowling once considered having Dudley show up at Platform 9 3/4 with a magical child in the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but later changed her mind, stating that "any latent wizarding genes would never survive contact with Uncle Vernon’s DNA."[2]
  • It is possible that Dudley raised his children to be better persons than he is during his childhood, given the encounter with the Dementors made him realize who he was after all the spoiling his parents gave him.
    • It should be noted that Harry's children get along well with Dudley's own as they played together.
