Dragon Species of Great Britain and Ireland is a book about the native dragon species in Great Britain and Ireland. It can be found in the Hogwarts Library.

History

Rubeus Hagrid consulted this book after receiving a dragon egg which eventually hatched into a young Norwegian Ridgeback that Hagrid named Norbert.[1]

It is possible that Harry Potter or Cedric Diggory checked this book when they found out that the first task in the Triwizard Tournament involved dragons.
