Draconifors (DRA-CON-ifors) is a transfiguration spell that turns statues of dragons into real dragons.
Behind the scenes
- In the PC version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Draconifors is a spell learned in Transfiguration class. Only Hermione Granger can use it. It turns statues of dragons into real dragons, which can then be controlled by the player.
- In the PS2, GC, and Xbox versions of the game, Hermione Granger can use the spell on dragon statues, which then breathe fire. The ensuing fire then consumes wall hangings to reveal secret passageways.
