Double-ended newts are magical creature kept as pets by wizards.^[2] It appears to be two newts sharing the same body. Double-ended newts swim around a lot and their diet consists of algae. ^[1] Double-ended newts can be purchased from the Magical Menagerie, at Diagon Alley. ^[1]
