Doris Purkiss was a witch who lived at number 18 Acanthia Way, Little Norton. In 1995, she gave an interview to The Quibbler claiming that Sirius Black was actually Stubby Boardman. She also stated that he had been enjoying a romantic dinner with her on the night of the murders of Peter Pettigrew and twelve Muggles.[1]

Etymology

The name "Doris" is from the ancient Greek name Δωρις (Doris) which meant "Dorian woman".
