Dobby the House-Elf owned a pair of red shoes after he was freed from service to the Malfoy family by Harry Potter and permitted to wear clothing.

Behind the scenes

In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Dobby was always depicted barefoot.
In the novels, Dobby is described as wearing several additional clothing items after gaining his freedom. However, in the films, these shoes are the only clothes he is ever seen wearing other than his old pillowcase.
