History
In 1997, Ron Weasley used this spell to lower the ceiling hatch and ladder leading to the Burrow's attic. In 1998, it was used by Vincent Crabbe, who cast this spell on a fifty-foot high pile of junk in the Room of Requirement in an attempt to make it fall over onto Ron.

Behind the scenes
- In the handheld versions of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, Draco Malfoy uses this spell during his duel with Harry Potter after being hit a few times with the Disarming Charm. He uses it to drop a statue in front of him for cover so that he can send in Crabbe and Goyle to fight Harry for him.
