The Department of Security is a department of the Ministry of Magic. It is probably a sub-division of another department, most likely the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and is responsible for the implementation of wizarding Great Britain defence policy. ^[1] It is possible that their headquarters is located on level eight in the Security Office.
