Dennis Creevey is a Muggle-born wizard. He was a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry three years below Harry Potter. He was Sorted into Gryffindor and is Colin Creevey's younger brother. He is muggle-born as his father is a milkman.
Biography
1994-1995
Dennis fell into Hogwarts Lake during the traditional boat ride that all first years experience when they first enter Hogwarts. He was immediately saved by either the Giant Squid or one of the Merpeople.
1995-1996
Dennis joined Dumbledore's Army in his second year. He broke the rule which allowed only third years and up to visit Hogsmeade on the weekends when he followed his brother to the Hog's Head.
1997-1998
In 1997, the Ministry of Magic was taken over by Lord Voldemort, and immediately began persecuting Muggle-borns. It seems that Dennis and Colin managed to avoid capture by the Muggle-Born Registration Commission, as Colin returned to Hogwarts in May of 1998 to participate in the final battle of the Second Wizarding War, in which he was killed. Dennis was not mentioned as having been there, thus he was probably still on the run.
Behind the scenes
- Although he does not make an appearance in any of the films, the character Nigel Wespurt, who only appears in the films, seems to serve as a replacement.
