Decoy Detonators are weird-looking black horn-like objects. When a person drops a Detonator surreptitiously, it will run off and make a loud noise out of sight, creating a diversion.
History
Invented by Fred and George Weasley, they are for sale at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.
They were used by Harry Potter in Deathly Hallows to create a diversion in order to enter Dolores Umbridge's office.
