Behind the scenes

  • David Copperfield is also the stage name of an American illusionist "described by Forbes as the most commercially successful magician in history."[2]
  • Daniel Radciffe was approached to audition for the role of Harry Potter in part because director Chris Columbus had screened the TV movie of David Copperfield in which Radcliffe had appeared and said, "I want to at least see this boy."[3]
