In the summer holiday before the 1993–1994 school year, when Cornelius Fudge intercepted Harry at the Leaky Cauldron after the young boy tried to run away for unintentionally inflating his Aunt Marge, the Minister for Magic had Tom the landlord bring a plate of crumpets and butter.
