- "...Dirk Cresswell is ten times the wizard you are. And if he survives Azkaban, you’ll have to answer to him, not to mention his wife, his sons, and his friends..."
- — Arthur Weasley confronts Albert Runcorn (actually Harry Potter in disguise)[src]
The Cresswell brothers were the sons of Dirk Cresswell and his wife. In 1997, their father was forced to go on the run after Lord Voldemort took over the Ministry of Magic. In 1998, he was caught and killed by Snatchers.[1] It is unknown what happened to them after 1998.
