This courtyard is an area of Hogwarts Castle where students often spend their breaktimes between classes when not in the Great Hall or their common rooms. A side door down the corridor off the Entrance Hall leads into this courtyard.

Behind the scenesEdit

In the first two movies, this courtyard appears to be represented by the Middle Courtyard.
In the third movie, it now appears to be the Clock Tower Courtyard.
In the fourth movie onwards, students appear to congregate mainly in the Viaduct Courtyard, although in the sixth film the Middle Courtyard is again prominent given its proximity to the Astronomy Tower.
