This counter-curse is a spell that prevents the Leg-Locker Curse.

In 1991, Hermione Granger used this spell to reverse the effects of the Leg-Locker Curse Draco Malfoy had put on Neville Longbottom.

Behind the scenes

Seamus Finnigan: "I do the countercurse."

Neville Longbottom: "Noo! That's all I need, you just set my bloody kneecaps on fire."

Seamus Finnigan: "I don't appreciate your insinuation, Longbottom! Besides, if anyone cares to notice, my eyebrows have completely grown back!"

In a deleted scene from the film, Seamus Finnigan offered to perform the counter-curse instead. However Neville turned him down saying that Seamus would set his knees on fire.
