A Counter-Jinx is a jinx that removes the effects caused by jinxes. Some wizards, like Mr. Wilbert Slinkhard, think that a "Counter-Jinx" is improperly named, and that "Counter-Jinx is a name wizards give their spells to make them sound more friendly".
