Coomloughra is a valley within the Macgillycuddy's Reeks mountain range, in County Kerry, Ireland. It is located to the west of Carrauntoohil, the highest peak on the island of Ireland.[1]

Isolt Sayre was born in Coomloughra in around 1603 and was raised there, living in a cottage called Ilvermorny, until the death of both her parents, when she was taken by her estranged aunt, Gormlaith Gaunt to the neighbouring valley of Coomcallee, "Hag's Glen".[2]
