Colour-Change Ink is magical ink that switches colour as one writes.[1]
History
1991
In 1991, while shopping for supplies for his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with Rubeus Hagrid, Harry Potter saw a bottle of this ink at Scribbulus Writing Instruments, which helped to lighten his mood a little after an unpleasant first encounter with Draco Malfoy.[1]
1996
When Albus Dumbledore came to collect Harry Potter from 4 Privet Drive in the summer before his sixth year, he found that Harry had yet to pack his trunk, so Harry went to his bedroom to do so. One of the things he had to do to get ready was screw the lid back onto his pot of Colour-Change Ink.[2]
