Colour-Change Ink is magical ink that switches colour as one writes.[1] It is possible that this ink has been enchanted with the Flashing paint charm.

History
Edit
1991
Edit
In 1991, while shopping for supplies for his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with Rubeus Hagrid, Harry Potter saw a bottle of this ink at Scribbulus Writing Instruments, which helped to lighten his mood a little after an unpleasant first encounter with Draco Malfoy.[1]
1996
Edit
When Albus Dumbledore came to collect Harry Potter from 4 Privet Drive in the summer before his sixth year, he found that Harry had yet to pack his trunk, so Harry went to his bedroom to do so. One of the things he had to do to get ready was screw the lid back onto his pot of Colour-Change Ink.[2]

- In Harry Potter: Trading Card Game, the ink is named Colour-Changing Ink instead.
