This staircase connects the third, fourth and fifth floors of the Clock Tower. It is made of wood. [1]

In 1993, Fred and George Weasley gave the Marauder's Map to Harry Potter here. Harry later used this stairs, along with Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger in their way to Hagrid's hut. [2]
1994-1997 school years

Hogwarts students continued using this staircase in order to go to the school grounds, get to Quidditch, or to play Gobstones at the Clock Tower Courtyard.[3]
Behind the scenes

- When Harry goes to the Clock Tower Courtyard to test his new Firebolt in the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, he and his friends appear to come from the inner part of the Clock Tower, instead of from the staircase.
