The Clock Tower Courtyard was a cloister on the base of the Clock Tower at Hogwarts Castle.[2]

Description[]

This cloister seemed to be one of the older parts of the castle, and the ceiling and walls were dilapidated. It also led to the Wooden Bridge and, as it was on a hill, was on the third floor. In the centre of the courtyard was an antique well surrounded by statues of eagles.[1] A pear tree also grew in this courtyard.[3]

History[]

In the 1980s, Jacob's sibling went here to play Gobstones with their friends.[4]

In the middle of the 1993–1994 school year, the trio walked past this courtyard in order to get to Hagrid's Hut.[1]
