Clapham is an area of London, England.^[1] Sturgis Podmore lived at 2 Laburnum Gardens in this neighbourhood, and Stan Shunpike also had a home located there.

Behind the scenesEdit

When J. K. Rowling first began writing the Harry Potter books she was living in a flat in Clapham Junction with flatmates. ^[2] Note however that despite the name, Clapham Junction is actually in nearby Battersea, not in Clapham as such.
