Christian Coulson is the actor who portrayed the young Tom Riddle in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He expressed an interest in returning for Half-Blood Prince, but director David Yates felt that he was too old to play the part again, and cast Frank Dillane in the role instead. Archive footage of Christian Coulson as Tom Riddle was used in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
