The Chief Snatcher was the second in command of the Snatchers during the Second Wizarding War. He was second to Fenrir Greyback as leader of the Snatchers which followed and caught Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger during their mission to find Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes.
During the Battle of Hogwarts, the Chief Snatcher participanted the Skirmish at the Covered Bridge and possibly falled to his death when the bridge collapsed.
Behind the scenes
- The Chief Snatcher is portrayed by David Decio in the two-part film adaptations of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
- Matthew Bancroft was a photodouble for the Chief Snatcher in the film adaptations of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
