A cherry is a small fruit, usually consisting of two small red fruits, each having their own stems connected by a small tip at the top. They are an ingredient of the Invisibility Potion. Muggles are known to eat cherries.

The branches or wood of cherry tree is also used in making wands.

The oak-matured mead which poisoned Ronald Weasley possessed subtle hints of licorice and cherry.
