Ollivander stated that the hair in the wand was "from a particularly fine male unicorn", which was seventeen hands high and nearly gored Ollivander with its horn after he plucked the hair from its tail. Cedric looked after his wand well and polished it regularly.[1] It was last seen clutched in Cedric's hand against his chest when Harry Potter brought Cedric's body back to Hogwarts.
