Catoptromancy was a method of divination which used mirrors to see future events and gain other insights.[1] The practise of catoptromancy included the use of specialised rooms called psychomanteums and scrying mirrors.[1][2]

Janus Galloglass, a mirror shop in Diagon Alley, sold catoptromancy implements.[1]
