The Cast-a-Spell Kit was a kit devised to develop new magical skills. It included a handbook (with some information on the spell along with useful "Essential Tips") and a training room filled with objects in which to practice spells. There was a copy of the kit at the library in Hogwarts.^[1]

There were two kits: one devised for beginners (including simple spells such as "The Dancing Feet", "Body Freezing Spell" and "Leg Locking Spell") and another kit for advanced learners (including a spell for growing legs).^[1]
