The filing cabinet of the Hogwarts caretaker was used mainly for recording the wrongdoing of students across all four houses.
The Marauders once took up a lot of space too. It is known that troublemaking twins Fred and George Weasley had an entire drawer to themselves. The aforementioned twins stole the Marauder's Map from a drawer in the cabinet in their early days at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They used it to learn of all the school's secret passages. The map later fell into Harry Potter's possession and later his son James.
