"Is this all real? Or has this been happening inside my head?"
The topic of this article is of a real-life subject that has been mentioned "in-universe" in a canon source. The Harry Potter Wiki is written from the perspective that all information presented in canon is true (e.g., Hogwarts really existed), and, as such, details contained in this article may differ from real world facts. |
Butter is a dairy product made by churning fresh or fermented cream or milk. It is generally used as a spread and a condiment, as well as in cooking, such as baking, sauce making, and pan frying.[1]
There was a reference to butter in Ron's unsuccesfully performed colour changing charm in 1991.[2]
Butter was available as a condiment for meals at Hogwarts. On the morning of 2 September, 1995, Fred Weasley buttered a crumpet at breakfast.[3]
