Bristol is a city and county in the Muggle world located in southwestern England, bordering the counties of Somerset and Gloucestershire, and is near to Chipping Sodbury and Bath. In 1981, little Harry Potter fell asleep when he and Hagrid were flying over the city on Sirius Black's motorcycle.[1]
History[]
The National Gobstones Tournament was held in Bristol. During the Calamity in the late 2010s or early 2020s, the Department of Magical Games and Sports asked that a Calamity Investigator working for the Statute of Secrecy Task Force serve as security for this tournament. The investigator was forced to enter the tournament in order to make the brackets equal, eventually finishing third and qualifying for nationals.[2]
