Bridget was a witch who worked as a journalist. She was a regular at the Leaky Cauldron.[1]
Behind the scenes

- In the very early drafts of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Bridget was supposed to try and interview Harry Potter in the Leaky Cauldron on his 11th birthday, but J.K. Rowling decided against it for pacing reasons. Her character eventually evolved into Rita Skeeter in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.[1]
