Brevis Birch was the Captain of the Tutshill Tornados.[1] He blamed the team's unexpected loss in a match against the Ballycastle Bats in early 1999 on a bout of narcolepsy suffered by their Keeper Merwyn Finwick.[1][2] The Tornados had been at the top of the league before this defeat.[3]
