When his pen-friend invited him to go on an exchange trip, Bill was unable to accompany him as his parents couldn't afford it. Unfortunately, his pen-friend was offended and sent Bill a cursed hat that made his ears shrivel up. There is a school of magic in Brazil, Bill's pen-friend studied.
