Brachiabindo is a spell which could be used to bind an opponent with invisible strings.[1] Its counter-spell is Emancipare.[2] It is likely related to other incapacitating spells such as the Leg-Locker Curse and the Incarcerous Spell.

Etymology

Brachiabindo seems to be derived from two roots, brachi- and the the English word "bind". Brachi- can either refer to brachia, the plural Latin word for "arms", or brakhion, Greek for "upper arm". The ending -bindo is possibly a dog Latin version of the English word "bind". Taken together, Brachiabindo could be interpreted as "I bind the arms".
