The box of confiscated items was a container kept in the Staffroom at Hogwarts Castle, in order to store students' items that were confiscated by the school faculty.[1]
In the 1991-1992 school year, one could find a book, a broomstick, a tennis racquet, and a Card Combination, among other things.[1] On the school year that followed, the box had been taken away from the room.[2]
Behind the scenes

- The line of dialogue that mentions this box was intended to be used in the Game Boy Color version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone presumably as part of a cut sidequest. However, this dialogue went unused, though the it still appears in the game's files, and the box is still seen at the staffroom, witch a Card Combination inside.[3]
