A bounty hunter was an individual who was hired to pursue and capture fugitives or otherwise sought an achievement in exchange for a reward, often financial.[1]
History[]
In 1927, Gunnar Grimmson was a bounty hunter, pursuing Credence Barebone for a financial reward (but was actually working for Gellert Grindelwald to help him bring Credence under his control).[2]
The Snatchers that operated during Lord Voldemort's control of the Ministry of Magic were a bounty hunter organisation, capturing those for which the Death Eaters were prejudiced against for financial gain.[3][4]
