A book at Hogwarts Castle contained a list of all the school's students^[1]. It was kept on a stand at the bottom of the staircase in the Viaduct Entrance during at least the 1995–1996 school year^[1], though it was not located there the previous year^[2]. It was removed from the hall before the next school year^[3].
