"We have kept wizarding secrets for six centuries - let us keep yours."
—Excerpt from an advice poster issued by Bodrag III[src]

Bodrag III was a goblin who served as governor of Gringotts Wizarding Bank during the late 1990s. It was under Bodrag's term as governor that Gringotts adopted the practise of having wizards show their wands for identification purposes before they could access their vaults. Bodrag also issued an advice poster that indicated various threats that were facing the magical world at the time (mass breakouts from Azkaban, "turbulent times" at the British Ministry of Magic, etc.) and advised that it was a better time than ever for wizards to seek out the safety of a Gringotts vault for their valuables.[1]
