Boa constrictors are large snakes that can be found in the North Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa. On June 23, 1991, Parselmouth Harry Potter spoke to a boa constrictor from Brazil. He accidentally used underage magic: he made the pen's glass Vanish, freeing the boa and helping it go to Brazil, while trapping his cousin inside the pen that was holding the giant snake.
