The Blue Salamander is a type of Salamander. Hermione Granger asked Harry Potter about them after the Glacius-Challenge, questioning whether the Salamanders were blue or red. Yet in Fanastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Newton Scamander does not mention this particular kind of creature.
