A biography is a book about the life of an individual. Such books can be first-person accounts, in which case they are called autobiographies, or written by someone other than the subject.
Biographies about the lives of wizards and witches were sometimes called wizardographies.[1] Flourish and Blotts had a section of their book shop dedicated to wizardographies.[1] During her career, Rita Skeeter wrote several biographies about prominent figures in the wizarding world, although these typically seemed to contain more unflattering speculation than actual fact.
