Bimetal alchemical thread was a patented magical fibre invented by Dehoff. It was invisible to practitioners of the Dark Arts, and, as such, was used to make the protective product Hex-a-Gone. However, Hex-a-Gone had complicated instructions that had to be followed carefully, and could result in unintended home "hexidents" if used incorrectly.^[1]
