Bill Nighy (born 12 December, 1949) is an English actor who portrayed Rufus Scrimgeour in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.[2]

Nighy is also well known for his work as Davy Jones in the Pirates of the Caribbean films, as well as the vampire king Viktor in the Underworld series. He also played Slartibartfast in the film version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and appeared in the 2010 Doctor Who episode "Vincent and the Doctor".
