Bill Nighy (born December 12, 1949) is an English actor who will portray Rufus Scrimgeour in the film adaptations of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.[1]
Nighy is also well known for his work as Davy Jones in the Pirates of the Caribbean films, as well as the vampire king Viktor in the Underworld series. He also played Slartibartfast in the film version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and has on several times been identified by the media as a likely contender to play The Doctor in Doctor Who, though this has yet to come to pass.
