In mythology, the Bicorn (also known as the Bicrone or Bulchin) was a creature with two horns. It has the reputation of devouring kind-hearted and devoted husbands. It is described as very fat and good-natured. The bicorn is far more rare than another similar animal, the unicorn. It probably also resides in the Forbidden Forest, but as it is listed as extinct in most countries, it is unlikely to be found if looked for.
At least one of its two horns is a required ingredient for Polyjuice Potion.
There was another beast called the chichevache which fed on obedient wives, but it was said that the "famished beast" was thinner than the bicorn, for "its food always fell short."[1] This creature's plight seems to indicate it is itself extinct.
