Betony is a genus of annual or perennial herbs, regarded as the most important medicinal herb to the Anglo-Saxons of early medieval Great Britain.[1]
Betony has healing properties, and is used in wizarding remedies: dried betony leaves are used in the treatment of mad dog bites.[2][3]
