Bertie William Gilbert (born 1 May 1997) is a British/South African actor who portrayed Scorpius Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.[4] He is currently an active filmmaker and has recently completed his first short film 'Stray Dog'.

Trivia

  • He is an active filmmaker on Vimeo and YouTube. He has created one major fifteen minute short film called 'Stray Dog' in which he wrote, directed and starred in. He has also created a number of shorter films such as 'Diner'. He is currently writing his next short film and hopes to one day branch out into directing feature films.
  • In 2007 (age 10), Gilbert appeared on The Friday Night Project where he faced off against David Tennant answering questions about Doctor Who.
  • He has done a great deal of networking and has become friends with various filmmakers and YouTube personalities such as Jack Harries, Tom Ridgewell, Benjamin Cook and Charlie Mcdonnell.
